"O Youth of Nobel Birthright"
"For, said he, I have repented of my sins, and have been redeemed of the Lord; behold I am born of the Spirit"
My scripture of the week for you guys, dang what a good week to say the least! This week my only focus was on being as diligent as I could, my goal was to finish the week tired and I think it worked!
We were able to get 15 people to church, and it was quite honestly just God doing his work! We had the baptism of Aurora, its this 14 year old that has been coming to church alone for a while haha thats how it is in Romero, just a ton of youth going to church without their parents. But Aurora for her baptism brought her mom and 4 sisters to church yesterday!!! It was a crazy miracle, the future of the church is in the youth!!
Another youngin we got baptized yesterday was Santiago, hes also 14 and also goes to church by himself, we actually thought he was a member for a while then the bishop called us on Tuesday and was like "yo hes not a member can you baptize him" so we passed by and we were like yo santiago yo wanna get baptized on sunday hes like bettttt, so it was pretty easy
Funny story, on saturday we passed by Santiago to make sure every thing was chill for his baptism, we went in his house and all his cousins and friends were there, and there like aye yall wanna play soccer, and we were like "bet but where", they took us to their backyard and just had the nicest soccer field ever jaja and so we played a crazy soccer match with them
1 more week, time to lay everything on the table
Love yall!

D&C 19:16
An Arizona boy just does not thrive in winter its just that simple.
This week wasn't the greatest of weeks not gonna lie with yall. I just felt like super tired the entire week and every time I left the house it felt like I walked into a freezer, so it just was not a good combination. It was one of those weeks where every little thing just annoys you and you are kind of just frustrated the entire time. So definitely not my finest of weeks but hey yesterday during weekly planning I was getting some revelation boosts for this week and i'm ready to just go crazy
We had the baptism of our boy Elias, he turned 8 on saturday what a stud, we were gonna have so more baptisms but we experienced some opposition to say the least, but i'll take some of the blame, I wasn't in the greatest mindset to be helping people like that, I was going into Nephi mode on people when they didn't want to keep the commandments...
But hey, for these very reasons our Savior gave his life, so that when people know they made mistakes they can repent and become better. So just know this week we're gonna go crazy, no excuses. Were going back to my 300 contacts strategy, if you wanna baptize everyone you gotta talk with everyone, its offically my last week to find someone who can get baptized before july 13th, so lets just say we've put some high goals, praying for humility, faith, and love. We got the goal of bringing 20 to church so we dont got time to mess around, I'll let you know how it goes.
Repent of your sins!
Love yall!

Grind Never Stops
Welp officially 3 weeks left on the mission, kinda crazy, but we still going crazy out here there is work to be done.
I'm gonna be completely honest with you, I don't know what God was thinking when we decided to put me with my companion, we are 2 people who just die laughing at everything. Literally half of our apointments are just us laughing with the people were teaching and then trying not to life while singing a hymn...
But hey God's ways are just and perfect, but things have been going our away, we were able to get 17 people to church yesterday, talk about some miracles, we are facing some opposition, the couple we were supposed to marry today, well something happened with their marriage date and the papers and it didn't get confirmed, we don't know what happened, so we had to take out another marriage date, the fastest one....18th of July, 2 days after i go home, so we are currently figuring out how to marry them before that happens so prayers up here
But we had 3 baptisms yesrerday woot woot, slowly but surely the work of the Lord is hastening, just straight miracles, Uma was probably the biggest miracle, shes a 12 year old who has been going to churcu for 3 years and never wanted to get baptized, but after almost 3 months of working with her we got the job done, she literally gave the sunday school class last week at church and she wasn't even a member haha
Grind Never Stops People

Minor Setbacks
Not gonna lie, compared to the other weeks i've had this definitely was a little bit tougher than usual. To start the week I got hit with a Mike Tyson whack to the face, my dad called me and told me our dog died, lowkey was so depressing, I was about just about to see him.
But I learned a lot from this situation about listening. I remember after hearing the news I didn't even want to hear words of comfort, just really wanted someone to listen to how I was feeling. I think a lot of times when people tell us all the problems they have, half the time they don't even want to hear the solutions or words of comfort, they just want to be listened too. So even though i miss scoutypoo a lot, hes helping me become a better listener, also It's helped being on the missions, helps me be distracted
But first week with my new comp and bro is a goof ball, like we just cannot stop laughing during our lessons i dont even know why, but he's this super humble recent convert from Paraguay, and he's just the typical chubby guy, always crackin a joke, but its gonna be a fun transfer
We didn't see the success that I wanted to see, definitely a lot of things we need to work on, so we are getting on that, we did have a cool experience on sunday, we were heading to church, and we already had 3 people confirm that they were already on their way, the thing was our goal was 4+ people at church, so i asked my comp if we could say a prayer because I didn't know what else to do, we asked god to give us a miracle, and as we walk into church, this couple that we invited the day before came walking in by surprise, then half way through sacrament, another kid walked in that we've been inviting for a while. Like straight miracles that only God could have done, idk why God gave us those miracles, I just know that when we ask in faith, god gives us what we desire if its righteous
We had the baptism of Bautista! I love this kid so much, he's just so happy all the time!

Uno Mas
Officially starting my last transfer of the mission, kinda crazy, as far as im concerned the mission just doesn't have an end so it'll be interesting to see how this goes!
Welp my companion is leaving me next transfer and i'm staying in my area for my last 6 weeks, my new comp is from Paraguay!!! Im actually so hype haha I hear he's a really good missionary and its gonna be his first transfer as zone leader so im technically training him, ima just train this man to be a machine!
Yesterday we had stake conference, lets just say its a lot different than in the states, members have to travel 45-60 minutes just to get there ooof, but it was solid, then in the afternoon we had the baptisms of Mercedes and Camila! Gosh I love their family so much! My area is just so amazing.
I think in all my mission, i've never felt so much love for members and people i'm teaching like I do for the people of Romero. I love them all so much ah its gonna be so sad leaving them all, 6 straight weeks of grinding lets get it.

Eternal Families
You are reminded of the joy in teaching families, with recent baptisms and upcoming weddings, and a sense of humor shared about the missionaries' excessive cake consumption.
Last night, we visited this family that we are teaching, they're so amazing, right as we left they gave us little 2 plates of cake to take home haha, so me and my comp went home and we started eating the cake, it was pretty bussin, then we got to the frosting, we both ate it, and then we looked at one another and we just started dying laughing, my comp goes "this thing is totally covered in coffee", so ya thats on us, but hey what can you say.
Gosh I love families so much!!! We are teaching 2 massive families as of right now, one of them is the Amalio Family, its basically a never ending family, 2 of them got baptized last sunday and we have 4 of them preparing to get baptized in June!!! It basically is the same family but like 3 different parts of our area, and they all go to church together I love it!
The other family is the Guiso Family!!! We have the parents on date to get married for June, and we baptized the two daughters yesterday Priscila y Abigail!! There 18 and 14 years old, its the most elect family ive evef met!! I love teaching families so much!!!
We had 4 baptisms last weekend, we had Priscila and Abigial like I mentioned, then we also had Mateo, hes a stud! Bros this 14 year stud that has been going to church and every activity for over a month, his best friend is a recent convert, then we baptized Anabela, the most humble person Ive ever taught, we contacted her last Tuesday and like every time we taught her she just took everything as truth and was telling everyone about how awesome the church is!!
I have no complaints, God is blessing me to end my mission, my only complaint would be if they transfer me but hey
Love y'all!
