Eternal Families

You are reminded of the joy in teaching families, with recent baptisms and upcoming weddings, and a sense of humor shared about the missionaries' excessive cake consumption.

Last night, we visited this family that we are teaching, they're so amazing, right as we left they gave us little 2 plates of cake to take home haha, so me and my comp went home and we started eating the cake, it was pretty bussin, then we got to the frosting, we both ate it, and then we looked at one another and we just started dying laughing, my comp goes "this thing is totally covered in coffee", so ya thats on us, but hey what can you say.

Gosh I love families so much!!! We are teaching 2 massive families as of right now, one of them is the Amalio Family, its basically a never ending family, 2 of them got baptized last sunday and we have 4 of them preparing to get baptized in June!!! It basically is the same family but like 3 different parts of our area, and they all go to church together I love it!

The other family is the Guiso Family!!! We have the parents on date to get married for June, and we baptized the two daughters yesterday Priscila y Abigail!! There 18 and 14 years old, its the most elect family ive evef met!! I love teaching families so much!!!

We had 4 baptisms last weekend, we had Priscila and Abigial like I mentioned, then we also had Mateo, hes a stud! Bros this 14 year stud that has been going to church and every activity for over a month, his best friend is a recent convert, then we baptized Anabela, the most humble person Ive ever taught, we contacted her last Tuesday and like every time we taught her she just took everything as truth and was telling everyone about how awesome the church is!!

I have no complaints, God is blessing me to end my mission, my only complaint would be if they transfer me but hey

Love y'all!

Little By Little

The grind does not stop out here in Romero, I love this place so much, thinkin about moving here after the mission...thoughts

This week we had the joyful opourtunity of helping our friends Brenda, Morena, and Saturnino get baptized!!!! It was actually so amazing, Saturnino was this man we found about 3 weeks ago, and well lets just the first interaction with him was normal, he wanted to get baptized, and we passed by again and he was so drunk it was so funny. We took a video of him just dancing and drunk out of his mind. But we kept faith in him, he pulled up to church 3 straight times and after his baptism he goes "after so much effort, it was worth it", i love my boy saturnino

Something me and my comp have put a TON of emphasis on this transfer is making sure in a lesson we don't teach more than 2 principles, but we make sure they understand what we are teaching. We have had so many spiritual lessons talking about only repentance, or the importance of daily prayer, or of explaining why prophets are important instead of teaching full on lessons. We have seen people understand apply feel the gospel changing their lives 1 principle at a time. I like to think of it as the way I have been taught the gospel, no one taught me lessons, I was taught line by line precept upon precept, thanks this tiny change we have made we have been seeing so much success

Imma be honest I wish I had learned this lesson way earlier in my mission but for some reason Heavenly Father wanted me to learn it in my last area. But ima be honest its really helping me understand how I want to teach my kids the gospel, little by little

So now we got 6 more people preparing to get baptized this sunday so we are praying a TON to make sure that they can all get there!

Love yall!

Small and Simple Things

Yoooo we out here another day another dollar lets get it!

This week we have the privelage of helping 15 people come to church yesterday and it was a lot of miracles!!!

Our first miracle was the Guiso Family! So basically on Tuesday a convert told us to pass by her friends family, so we pulled up on Tuesday and met a SUPER prepared family oh my! It's a mom, her boyfriend, and 5 kids, there ages are 18,16,13,7, and 1 it's crazy! We passed by and taught them about church and they loved it! They we passed by the next day and they started asking us about baptism, we taught them the gospel and they told us the wanted to get baptized. Well the parents weren't married and they have only been together for about 3 months so me and my comp made the "oh crap let's just send it" look at each other. And we were like welp, you guys need to get married, there like "ok" jaja we were like BET, we told them to get their IDs and we took a marriage date out for them right then and there for June 6th

Honestly ever since I've gotten to my last area I've been telling my comp that the only thing I want to do before I leave is find a family that I can help get sealed In the temple! So we are hard core praying that it's them, it was honestly a crazy miracle!

Something me and my comp have been doing more recently is having really spiritual lessons but only teaching about 1-2 principles, instead of having these full lessons with tons of information, we have these powerful lessons focused on 1 principle and we have seen our friends progress 10x faster its been awesome, sometimes as missionaries we get caught up in teaching lessons not people, but by focusing on only 1 principle at a time, people are understanding the gospel more!

We had the baptism of our friend Sandra! Oh my she is just the nicest women I've ever met in my whole life. She lives right next to these recent converts that we are always next too, and we passed by her house and she goes "I always see you guys over there, and you never came to my house" but then we pulled up and she got baptized so easily!

Last story, it was about 6 in the morning yesterday, I went to readjust my position, and just got the CRAZIEST Charlie horse in my calf oh my, lasted about 20 seconds, almost lost my leg for good, but we are recovering slowly but surely.

Love yall!

Winners Mentality

I got sick this week, it was only the second time in my whole mission I couldn't leave because I got sick but hey we are back and we are better than ever. So basically tuesday I was in bed all day fighting straight demons but took like 10  ibuprofen and wednesday we were back and running again

This week we focused on the mentality! Basically something I've learned during my mission is the importance of having a firm mentality that you WILL find success. So on wednesday we left with this mentality that we were going to find a family and that there were hundreds of people waiting for us. And we just found the most beautiful family ever. It is a grandma her 3 grandkids and her daughter, theres like 5 more we are trying to help but these are the 5 that are progressing! We got almost all of them on date for baptism and almost all of them have made it to church! The mentality changes everything

Something else i have learned is that if we want to find more success, we have to believe more success is possible. Throughout my entire mission, we have almost always put a goal to bring 4 people to church. Every week 4 people, but me and my comp were chatting one sunday night and we were like, whats stopping us from bring 10-15 people to church, so we started up our goal to that, and last week we had 9 at church and this week we had 10 at church, slowly but surely the lord has been blessing us with so many miracles!!!

I dont know what else to say, oh ya, the other day it was the 1st of May, and that is a holiday here in argentina, and oh my, if I could describe this holiday to you its this, basically EVERYONE takes work off, buys a ton of beer, and gets utterly drunk while shouting outside with their friends. Ive never seen so many drunk people in my life it was crazyyyyy, so ya theres that

Love y'all!

That's All Folks!!

Hard to put into words what I am feeling right now, its crazy to meet that 2 years has already past but hey it had to come to an end at some...
