Future Job

Guys the week already passed by so fast and I already had my last chrimmy on the mish

Christmas on the mish was kinda dummy lit, I was still recovering from the demon that was inside my stomach so I wasn't able to eat too much, but we got together as a zone and made some asado it was lit, I'm literally zone leader to the greatest zone in the mish! I love every single one of these elders y hermanas its amazing!

Honestly one of the greatest things about being a ZL is just having a capo compañero. Only downfall is that the majority of the times I don't end up working with him. We literally just do comp exchanges every day to help the other missionaries find success, its fun sometimes but theres some days where im just like bruh can i work with my comp jaja

We did do a crazy service project on Saturday, we helped this member build a wall, and all I can say is I think I found my future job, it was so funny because all these members are like 60+ years old and they still CRANKIN out that work, these old men work like no other. We moved a garage, we made cement, I was just shoveling sand and rocks back and forth, it was really fun, I just wish we could do more jaja vamos!

We also had 2 capos enter into the waters of baptism! One had been coming to church a decent amount but like his family just trolls us everytime we pass by his house, so we didn't find him all week, but sure enough sunday morning bro pulled up an hour early to church ready for his baptism, the other one had been getting taught for 5 years by missionaries, his book of mormon had been signed by more than 25 elders jaja, crazy miracles both of them, but vamo la bae!

I've officially recovered from my sickness, then my comp got sick yesterday jaja but hey we keep going, i love my life!!!

Love yall

Sick Chrimmy

Being a zone leader officially was the greatest thing thats ever happened to me not gonna cap, i just love my job

But there has been quite a lot of changes, first off we on the bikes, its cracked, it makes everything about missionary work so much easier, also my comp is that guy, i love this guy, i'm literally just having the time of my life right now, got a nutty comp, i'm in a an insanely good area with an amazing ward and we got bikes, theres just no excuse to not have success out here

Something a little bit different about this ward is that we don't have a chapel, we rent a tiny building it's so funny. And our ward is lowkey massive and we just do not fit haha, the building is so tiny, were just like 1 big family I love it, we were also able to get 2 studs to church last week and there getting baptized next week so thats hype

But in bad news, i'm sick as a dog right now, I literally was absolutely dying yesterday, I swear I saw the other side of the veil at one point, and we had a dinner appointment last night with members and I just wanted to die, ending up throwing up twice in their bathroom whoops, then my comp woke up sick this morning, who doesn't love a nice sick chrimmy

But guys don't worry about me, haven't eatin anything in over a day, lost about 10 pounds in the process but were chillinnnnnnnnn

I promise i'll make a better email next week

Love yall

Sad Happy Ending

Last Tuesday, I decided to do a comp exchange with an area in my district that was struggling a bit. So I went over there for the day and on the comp exchange we found this super ELECT family of 4 and threw them on date for baptism, they pulled up to church last sunday and yesterday all 4 of them were able to be baptized and confirmed, I was lucky enough to do there baptismal interviews on Friday and it was so cool to see them! 2 of the kids even asked me to baptize them haha, there aren't even in my area but I feel so much love for that family!!! It truly was an awesome experience to be apart of🌾

If you guys also remember, our girl Uma pulled up to church last week, its this girls who's mom is a member and her mom brought her to church again yesterday a d she was also able to be baptized and confirmed as well it was awesome, so yesterday as a ward we had a total of 5 bappys and it was just an absolute party in the heavens, I love Uma and I love their family, they love us so much and were truly prepared by the Lord!!

But as they say all good things must come to an end😔, I have officially been called to be a zone leader and so that means I have officially been kicked out of my all time favorite area Kilometro26, I remember our AP called me saturday night to tell me the news and I just remember being so sad, just to leave this area literally the promised land, to leave my best friend Elder Paul, but its what the lord wanted, and I do the Lords will, so as sad as it is to go i'm excited to be a ZL and help more people!

On the guys news, my comps name is Elder Harper and I already know the guy pretty well and is an absolute Stud!! My area is called Altos De San Lorenso and I've also heard a lot of good things from this ward, definitely gonna be sad to leave Kilo for Christmas but God's plan is my plan

I've never felt so much joy in the work like i've been finding reciently, time is going by too fast and i'm just hoping to put my head down and keep grinding these last 7 months🙌, I truly do love the Lord and I truly do love and have a deep passion for helping others come unto Christ!!

Love yall👻

Rain Drop Drop Top

I really have felt the meaning of the saying "the heavens are open", because I felt every single bit of the heavens this week just absolutely drenching me with rain every single day😭, peep the google photos for the rain🌧

You guys may have entered my google photos lately and thought what do Elder Clouse and his comp do all day besides dance, i honestly don't know, but guys I promise we do occasionally work trust me😉

This week me and my comp had the chance to get to know another inactive member, her name is Mery, we talked to her boyfriend about a week ago and he finally let us in the house on Wednesday, we taught the restoration to him and Mery, and then found their daughter Uma, whos 11, who accepted to be baptized! It was a crazy miracle, we passed by again on saturday and taught the restoration again, and Mery told us how happy she was to be going to church the next day with her whole family, and how excited she was to help her daughter get baptized it was so awesome to see! Before leaving on Saturday Mery turned to us and just says "you guys are changing our lives🥹", she told us how her boyfriend had rejected every religion before we got there, but for some reason he finally decided to recieve us and is wanting to get baptized!

Now every story doesn't have a happy ending as you all know. Ya so Sunday morning we experienced Hurricane Katrina oh my goodness, it was raining cats and dogs literally. We passed by Mery to help the family come to church, and she was awake and just DID NOT want to go out in the storm, we prayed with her, tried begging God to stop the storm, but she didn't want to take her kids out in a thunder storm😭, so they couldn't make it but hey you guys will hear from this family soon i promise their so elect, God prepared them so perfectly

So after that happened it was about 9:35 on sunday morning, we were about 30 blocks from church, I told my comp we had to run to go look for other people to help get to church before 10:00, and I remember we just started running, i remember my suit was SOAKED, my boots were FULL of water, some of our friends couldn't come because of the rain, and I just remember thinking what am I doing haha, and as I kept running I just got this overwhelming feeling of joy, and a voice came to me saying "this is the true church", it was so increible, and even tho, soaking wet, and some of our friends couldn't make it because of the rain, the Lord testified to me of the truthfullness of this work! Like running in a thunderstorm, in a SUIT, with shoes soaking wet, looking for people who sometimes don't even care about this message, sounds crazy to the outside world, but its how us missionaries show our love to the Lord and his work😎

But this story did have a happy ending, the storm didn't stop Rocio from getting baptized🙌, found her last thursday, came to church last sunday, progressed in 10 days, straight pure☂️, i was feelin myself so decided to baptize in the jumpsuit🤑

That's All Folks!!

Hard to put into words what I am feeling right now, its crazy to meet that 2 years has already past but hey it had to come to an end at some...
