Felices Pascua
So this week for Easter, the church made a ton of videos for Easter, about these people seeing missionaries in the street and just like calling them over and wanting to get baptized. Its all propaganda people, that did not happen this week, for all my spanish speakers, nobody hizó una pausa and did not permitir que cristo sea el centro. But its okay because it was Easter and we got to focus more on Jesus Christ!
This was was probably the toughest week for me mentally of my mission. I'd be lying if I didn't say this transfer hasn't tested every nerve in my body. There has been a lot of long prayers at night and a lot of really hard moments. But something that has really strengthened me this week that I started doing was every morning, I throw in my sound proof air pods, shoutout mom, and just listen to general conference. It really helps me forgot about my struggles and really invites the spirit into my life. For all you people struggling, missionary or not, I invite you do do this, you will find yourself having better days, trust
But lets just say this week, we found a lot of people who wanted to be baptized, u might think thats awesome right? Not a single one of them had a phone. We put 3 people on date this week and not a single one of them had a phone. This is a missionaries worst nightmare. Its almost impossible to make plans for them to go to church, so lets just say Sunday morning at 8:30 when we went to go wake up our amigos, we got yelled at by our amigos family, the other one didn't wake up, and the other one wasnt home. From that day forward, I told myself I would never put someone on date that doesn't have a phone..kidding....cant tell if im kidding. You want salvation, go buy yourself a phone, guys im kidding
Lots of walking this week, lots of talking, and a lot of Learning and being tested, but you know what they say "eat drink and be merry for tomorrow we die"
Felt sarcastic today, happy Easter everyone
